Haystack Systems is a Vancouver BC based consultancy that specializes in modelling complex systems. Our goal is to bring the powerful set of math, science, and engineering tools we’ve honed in the aerospace industry into new domains, to help your organization solve challenging problems and make better decisions.
What we do
Our expertise revolves around two broad categories: scientific computing is a set of tools to analyze, model, and understand natural or artificial systems, while systems engineering is a set of tools to design, build, and manage them.
How we work
We offer our services at an hourly rate, with reduced rates available for academic and non-profit organizations.
Often it is not immediately clear how or if our services will fit with your organization’s needs and culture, or what kinds of problems we can help you solve. So we start with a brief conversation about your challenges and objectives, then focus on areas where you could benefit from faster or more reliable information or processes. In some cases we may spend a few days studying and prototyping potential solutions before you decide to contract our services.
